Softball Recap: Bethany Takes a Loss

Cache hit Bethany with a four-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bronchos fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Bronchos haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Madison Bibbs made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Emma Buxton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bethany's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cache, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Bethany will head out on the road to square off against Guthrie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cache, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Tecumseh at 3:30 p.m.
