Soccer Recap: High Tech SD's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

There's no place like home for High Tech SD, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged the Hoover Cardinals out 1-0 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Storm as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sadie Gabriel, who's now up to five this season.

High Tech SD's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10-1. As for Hoover, they now have a losing record at 11-12-2.

The future could be bright for both High Tech SD and Hoover: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. High Tech SD will look to extend Kearny's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hoover will try to hand Logan Memorial Education Campus their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
