With a playoff win on the line, University Prep rose to the challenge on Saturday. They snuck past the Colusa RedHawks with a 43-37 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

It was another big night for Joanna Warren, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 18 boards. Aubrey Caudell was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

University Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive games.

University Prep's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Colusa, the loss snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 23-7 record.

University Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-39 defeat against Moreau Catholic on the 4th.
