Preview: Bret Harte Bullfrogs vs. Amador Buffaloes
Bret Harte is 9-1 against Amador since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bret Harte Bullfrogs will head out on the road to take on the Amador Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bret Harte only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point they dealt Summerville on Friday. Bret Harte blew past Summerville, posting a 63-31 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bret Harte has posted since November 20, 2023.
Meanwhile, Amador had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took down Calaveras 42-26.
Bret Harte has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Amador, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7.
Bret Harte couldn't quite finish off Amador when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 41-38. Can Bret Harte avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
