Football Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Sartell-St. Stephen kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 21-14 to the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets. The Sabres have struggled against the Bluejackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sartell-St. Stephen will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Cloud Tech/St. John's Prep at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they will welcome Chisago Lakes Area at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
