Softball Recap: Quapaw Comes Up Short

Quapaw came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 21-4 to the Pawhuska Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Quapaw's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Pawhuska, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Quapaw will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bluejacket at 6:00 p.m. on November 21. As for Pawhuska, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-2 victory against Stroud on the 26th.
