Basketball Recap: Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Comes Up Short

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy was the 45-35 winner over Vacaville Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans took a hard 46-28 fall against the Vacaville Christian Falcons on Monday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Vacaville Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy will take on Vista del Lago in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vacaville Christian, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Vacaville Christian Falcons take on the Turlock Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vacaville Christian's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Turlock Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
