Softball Recap: Skyline Takes Down Ranked Miller

Skyline faced Miller in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. Give the Tigers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Skyline's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Miller, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2.
