Basketball Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-15 loss at the hands of the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 699th, while the Crusaders are ranked 140th).

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Catasauqua the next time they take the court. Notre Dame-Green Pond will host Catasauqua at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, while Palisades will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
