Volleyball Recap: Bay Area Christian Takes a Loss

Bay Area Christian lost against Fort Bend Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fort Bend Christian Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Bay Area Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Wilson had 31 digs and three aces. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

Fort Bend Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Addison Crist, who had seven digs and two aces.

Bay Area Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-15-1. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Bay Area Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lutheran South Academy on the 7th. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Emery/Weiner on the 7th.
