Baseball Recap: Forest Park Finds Home Field Redemption Against Creekside

There's no place like home for Forest Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Creekside Seminoles by a score of 8-3 on Friday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Seminoles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Nate Edmunds was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Andre Turnipseed, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-4.

Forest Park's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to strikeouts: they averaged an imposing seven strikeouts in those games compared to only 3.75 in the others. As for Creekside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
