Softball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

Lindsay hit Davis with a six-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Leopards, falling 15-3. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Leopards recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 13-12-2. As for Lindsay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will venture away from home to challenge Kingston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindsay, they will head out to face off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
