Basketball Recap: Port of Los Angeles Comes Up Short

Port of Los Angeles lost against Harbor Teacher back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears were dealt a 74-15 defeat at the hands of the Harbor Teacher Monarchs. While losing is never fun, the Polar Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1240th, while the Monarchs are ranked 194th).

This is the second loss in a row for Port of Los Angeles and nudges their season record down to 1-11. As for Harbor Teacher, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

While Port of Los Angeles had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
