Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was the 6-5 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Railsplitters fell just short of the Riders by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Lincoln dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Ottumwa at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Urbandale at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
