Volleyball Game Preview: Bullard Panthers vs. Madisonville Mustangs

Bullard is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Madisonville is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will host the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Bullard got the win against Rusk by a conclusive 3-0.

Bullard's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rusk to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Julia Garrick, who had 18 assists and six digs.

Meanwhile, Madisonville made easy work of Center on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Madisonville's win bumped their record up to 33-8. As for Bullard, their victory bumped their record up to 29-10.

Bullard beat Madisonville 3-1 when the teams last played on October 7th. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
