When it comes to explaining why Vista del Lago lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ella Skrzyniarz. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Skrzyniarz scored a full 51.4% of Vista del Lago's points, the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Bella Pallari was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Vista del Lago's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Christian Brothers, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
Vista del Lago will look to defend their home court on Monday against El Camino at 7:00 p.m. As for Christian Brothers, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
