Basketball Recap: Penncrest Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Penncrest faced off against Owen J. Roberts on Saturday. The Penncrest Lions fell 42-29 to the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Penncrest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Owen J. Roberts, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penncrest will square off against Harriton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owen J. Roberts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perkiomen Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Owen J. Roberts: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Perkiomen Valley has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road.
