Soccer Recap: Dos Pueblos Takes a Loss

Dos Pueblos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oxnard Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 69th).

Dos Pueblos' loss dropped their record down to 6-6-7. As for Oxnard, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1-1.

Dos Pueblos didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Pacifica on the 4th. As for Oxnard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Buena on the 4th.
