Softball Recap: Cedar Shoals Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cedar Shoals's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Eastside Eagles on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cedar Shoals has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Eastside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Cedar Shoals will challenge Flowery Branch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they will host Alcovy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
