Softball Recap: Poudre Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Poudre's offense. They came up short against the Fort Collins Lambkins on Thursday, falling 17-0. The Impalas haven't had much luck with the Lambkins recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Poudre's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fort Collins, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Poudre will be playing at home against Monarch at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Collins, they will head out to challenge Fossil Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
