Basketball Game Preview: Pasadena Bulldogs vs. Westlake Warriors

The Pasadena Bulldogs will face off against the Westlake Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westlake took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pasadena, who comes in off a win.

Pasadena will head into Monday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 54) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Verdugo Hills, sneaking past 55-52.

Meanwhile, Westlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brentwood School. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 14-8 in the first quarter.

Pasadena has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
