Karsen Weiers Game Report: vs Mt. Pleasant

Passers beware: Karsen Weiers came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also rushed for 61 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards, helping propel Derry past Mt. Pleasant by a score of 33-13. We certainly expect to see more strong performances from Weiers considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Looking ahead, Weiers and Derry will welcome Yough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are limping into the matchup having lost four straight on the road.
