Wilson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 18-6 victory over the Legacy Tigers. Given the Mules' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Tigers are ranked 425th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Anniyah Huteson had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 200 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 59 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

Wilson's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jasmin Ortiz. four times. The heavy lifting was done by Viririana Flores and Sophia Reyes, who racked up all four sacks between them. Flores is crushing it when it comes to sacks: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Huteson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Legacy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Wilson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-7 defeat against South Hills on the 13th. As for Legacy, they will venture away from home to square off against Bell at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
