Softball Recap: Early County Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Early County's offense. They came up short against the Baconton Charter Blazers on Thursday, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Blazers: they've now lost five in a row.

Early County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kali Wentzell, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Early County's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Baconton Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

As of now, neither Early County nor the Blazers have any future games scheduled.
