As for Desert Christian, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Faith Baptist strolled past Desert Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 34-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Faith Baptist since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
