Volleyball Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nimitz can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Colts on Thursday. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Colts when the teams met back in August of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arlington was led to victory by Evelien Hodges and Catherine Knowles. Hodges had four digs and two aces, while Knowles had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Knowles has posted since back in September.

Nimitz is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-18. As for Arlington, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-20.

As of now, neither Nimitz nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
