Football Recap: High Point Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Trinity Christian

High Point Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Trinity Christian Crusaders 44-8. The Cougars pushed the score to 37-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders had little chance of recovering from.

High Point Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaylen Moore led the charge by rushing for 117 yards and four scores. Moore's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 15th straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Hez Krider was another key rusher, gaining 70 total yards and two touchdowns.

High Point Christian Academy's record is now 5-0. As for Trinity Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. High Point Christian Academy will challenge SouthLake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinity Christian, they will take on Wayne Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
