Baseball Recap: Olathe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olathe can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bryce Good was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.

Olathe's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Olathe nor Dayspring Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
