Basketball Recap: Rockwood Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Rockwood's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the North Star Cougars by a score of 38-31. That seven point margin sets a new team best for the Rockets this season.

Rockwood's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13. As for North Star, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Rockwood will square off against Cambria Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Cambria Heights will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Rockwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Star, they will face off against Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
