Baseball Recap: Addison Gets the Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Addison ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Waldron Spartans 5-4.

The team relied heavily on Logan Jewell, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Addison's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 5-15 when he doesn't).

Addison's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16. As for Waldron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Addison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waldron, they will challenge Burr Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
