Marissa Parker leads York County Tech to victory over Kutztown

Recap: York County Tech Spartans vs. Kutztown Cougars
The York County Tech Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Kutztown 52-35. The win was some much needed relief for York County Tech as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Marissa Parker, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of York County Tech's points. Another player making a difference was Le'Icessess Harrison, who scored 18 points along with seven steals.
York County Tech's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Kutztown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
York County Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Dover at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dover is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Kutztown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brandywine Heights Area at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
