Logan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Floyd Broncos a 66-0 shutout on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Logan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. It was a group effort, with five picking up one apiece. Mason Wallin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Floyd, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Logan will take on Magdalena at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Floyd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
