Soccer Recap: Le Grand Comes Up Short

Le Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Delhi Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on January 7th.

Geraldine Reyes and Dayannara Nava scored both of Le Grand's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Le Grand's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Delhi, their record is now 8-6-1.

Le Grand and Denair will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Denair will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Le Grand surely won't give up without a fight. Delhi has already played their next match (against Waterford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
