Softball Recap: Rome Comes Up Short

Rome fell victim to Villa Rica and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to the Wildcats. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Rome now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Villa Rica, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Rome will head out on the road to square off against Alexander at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Villa Rica, they will take on Troup County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
