Northview extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping them down to 1-6. They took a blow against the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions, falling 82-55. On the bright side, the 55- point effort marked the Chiefs' highest-scoring game to date.

Several Chiefs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Easton Odom, who posted 13 points and three steals. Brysin Orso was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

As for L.E.A.D. Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Northview is ranked 596th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ta'Navion Richardson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 6-for-10 from deep and dropping a double-double with 40 points and 15 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 46.4% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Andrew Holcomb, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points.

Northview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-42 victory against Atmore Christian on the 9th. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 72-12 win against Full Life Christian Academy on the 11th.
