Basketball Recap: Sewickley Academy Takes a Loss

Sewickley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 74-9 defeat at the hands of the Beaver Falls Tigers. The matchup marked Sewickley Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sewickley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Beaver Falls, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

When Sewickley Academy and Beaver Falls next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Sewickley Academy will face off against St. Joseph and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Beaver Falls will try to stop Ellwood City's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
