Basketball Game Preview: Delta Charter Dragons vs. Turlock Christian Eagles

Delta Charter is 0-3 against Turlock Christian since December of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Delta Charter Dragons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Turlock Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

On Tuesday, Delta Charter had to suffer through a 39-12 loss at the hands of Stockton Christian. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Marisa Ballesteros, who posted eight points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Turlock Christian played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. 2025 welcomed they with a 41-15 loss courtesy of Dos Palos. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Delta Charter will have to contain Faith Hayes as she made an impact in Turlock Christian's last game. She put up six points in addition to 12 rebounds and four blocks. Hayes is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last eight games she's played.

Delta Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Turlock Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Delta Charter took a serious blow against Turlock Christian in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, falling 50-19. Can Delta Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
