Soccer Recap: Westside vs. Pike County
Westside lost against Pike County on March 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seminoles came up short against the Pirates, falling 8-1. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Jeffery Watts was handed one for Westside, while Pike County got theirs courtesy of Jack Hammond.
Westside's goal came courtesy of Henry Zarate, who's now up to three this season.
Westside is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8. As for Pike County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
