Baseball Recap: Franklin Towne Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Franklin Towne had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt MAST Charter II on Tuesday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-8 margin over the Voyagers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by nine runs or more this season.

Matthew Lawless and Ryan Ryzinski did most of the damage at the plate: Lawless went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Ryzinski went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Ryzinski has become a key player for Franklin Towne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Robert Brant, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
