Softball Recap: Walnut Grove Tigers vs. Wheatland Mules
Walnut Grove blew Wheatland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Wheatland got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Mules by a score of 18-16. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (13), the Tigers still had to take the loss.
K Henry stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of S Loehr, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
