Softball Recap: Davenport Central Takes a Loss

Davenport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the North Scott Lancers, falling 16-2. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in July of 2024.

Davenport Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for North Scott, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lancers beat Davenport Central by a score of 17-2 later that day.
