Soccer Game Preview: Legacy vs. Bell

Legacy and Bell are an even 4-4-2 against one another since December of 2019, but likely not for long. The Legacy Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Bell Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Legacy took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Huntington Park. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bell). They came out on top against Garfield by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Bell hit Garfield with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jazmin Navarro, Danielle Urena, and Andrea Garcia.

Legacy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four games. As for Bell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Legacy might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Bell when the teams last played back in January. Can Legacy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
