Basketball Recap: High School of the Future Takes a Loss

High School of the Future was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 42-23 to the Parkway West HOYAS.

Despite the defeat, High School of the Future saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Armani Langley posted 13 points. That was a full 56.5% of High School of the Future's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tyjae Hanible, who put up seven points.

Parkway West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zaahirah Shabazz out in front who had 12 points. Mariyah Davis was another key player, putting up ten points.

High School of the Future's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Parkway West, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

As of now, neither High School of the Future nor Parkway West have any future games scheduled.
