Baseball Recap: Lakeview Academy Comes Up Short

Lakeview Academy suffered their closest loss since April 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights by a score of 8-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Izze Longoria made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Collin Waldrop was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lakeview Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
