Soccer Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

Newton lost against Apalachee back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Newton Rams fell 3-1 to the Apalachee Wildcats. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Apalachee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1.

Looking ahead, Newton will square off against Rockdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Apalachee, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Apalachee duke it out with the Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
