Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. St. Joseph Academy on Friday, Twin Valley came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Memorial Eagles on Tuesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Arlington Memorial, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Twin Valley by a score of 14-10 later that day.
