Softball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Has No Trouble Against St. Augustine

St. Joseph Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt St. Augustine on Friday. Everything went the St. Joseph Academy Flashes' way against the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets as the St. Joseph Academy Flashes made off with a 19-3 victory.

St. Joseph Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Augustine, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will challenge Crescent City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Augustine, they will head out to square off against University Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. University Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully St. Augustine likes a good challenge.
