Hamilton waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 58-48 win over the Venice Gondoliers. That's more bragging rights for the Yankees, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Venice saw an underclassman step up: freshman Amiya Aldridge dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards. Aldridge is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brenda Dunbar, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 23 rebounds.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Venice, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.
