Booker T. Washington had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Okmulgee on Thursday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 14-5 win. The Hornets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 13-3).

Booker T. Washington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Okmulgee, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
