Mt. Zion can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Hiram Hornets as they made off with a 16-3 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Mt. Zion now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hiram, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, Mt. Zion will be playing at home against Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hiram, they will head out on the road to take on Southeast Whitfield County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
